Lynnwood Flash Funding

Supporting Teachers in Lynnwood

Teachers’ statewide work so hard every day to educate and support their students, and often times serve as mentors or work extra hours to give students an exceptional education experience.

At Inspirus, we’re thankful for these teachers and share our support for them by providing necessary school supplies and equipment to enhance students learning.

On October 5th, Inspirus fully-funded all teacher-posted project requests in the Edmond School District on With the help of our members, we funded 100 percent of the 29 teacher project requests posted, where funds for each project range from $ 200 to $ 3,342 for books, tablets, field trips and more. More than 3,400 students benefitted from this $24,500 donation.

Our most recent flash-funding impacted approximately 600 students at Beverly Elementary alone, where over $10,000 will help educators make learning more accessible for all students since many come from low-income families. Other participating schools include Cedar Way Elementary, Chase Lake Elementary, College Place Elementary, Hazelwood Elementary, Meadowdale Elementary and Oak Heights Elementary, among others.

The surprise donations are the latest in a series of statewide flash funding projects that we recently sponsored. In the last year, Inspirus has donated over $102,000 to Washington schools through giveback projects.
