Inspirus Checking: General Information

What is the Credit Union's routing or ABA number?

An ABA routing number is a 9-digit identification number assigned to financial institutions by The American Bankers Association (ABA). This number identifies the financial institution. Routing numbers are sometimes referred to as "check routing numbers", "ABA numbers", or "routing transit numbers" (RTN).

Our routing number is 325082266.

How do I open an additional checking or savings account?

In order to open an additional checking or savings account:

  1. Select the DASHBOARD widget.
  2. Select "Open an Account" found under Quick Links (on the right side of the page). FYI: This will open a new window and take you to our standard new account screen. This is outside of the digital banking site, so the screen will look a bit different
  3. Select the "Open an additional/secondary deposit account" link
  4. You will then complete the application to open an additional share account.

Please Note: You can also contact us through the MESSAGE CENTER within Digital Banking to request an additional share account. Or you may give us a call at 206-628-4010, 888-628-4010.

How much is the fee to expedite a bill payment?

$5.00 for electronic payments and $30.00 for check payments. Once an expedited payment is made, it is processed immediately and cannot be canceled. The fee will be debited from your checking account as a separate transaction.

How do I get a copy of a check I deposited to my account?

To obtain a copy of an item you deposited to your account, please log into Digital Banking and send your request through the MESSAGE CENTER. Be sure to include the transaction details, such as the check number, the amount, and or the date it was deposited. You are also welcome to contact us at 1-888-628-4010 to request the copy. We can send the requested check copy to you through the MESSAGE CENTER, postal mail, or fax.

Please note that obtaining a copy of a check you deposited through another financial institution's ATM or Shared Branch may require additional processing time.

How can I get a copy of a check that I wrote from my account?

In order to obtain a copy of check that you wrote that has cleared your Inspirus Credit Union account: Log into Digital Banking. Select the ACCOUNTS widget. Select the checking account the check was written on. Scroll through your history to locate the item and click on the item. The details will appear on your screen. Click the pencil icon to the right of the details. Select View Check to the right of CHECK IMAGE. An image of the check will appear on your screen. You may print or save the image. ***Please note, if a merchant has chosen to process your check electronically, an image of the item will not be available. Electronically processed checks will list the payee's name in the transaction comment next to the check number in your account history. A rolling history of 18 months is available.

What is an ADDvantage Checking account?

ADDvantage Club Checking is an account for members that use direct deposit or payroll deduction. There are multiple benefits for members which include:

How do I report a fraudulent check that cleared my account?

If you discover a suspicious or fraudulent check withdrawal on your account, please contact us immediately at 1-888-628-4010.

In order to dispute the unauthorized check withdrawal, we may need you to complete an affidavit. When you call, we'll review all the steps needed to ensure that you're quickly reimbursed for any unauthorized activity on your account.

In accordance with the account agreement, any unauthorized activity must be reported to the credit union within 60 days of the date of the statement on which the fraudulent charge appears.
